Quartier23 is a label for physical releases only. It is the legitimate consequence of Heroes Dept., NFP and Abyss Rec.
About the name: there is no need to explain - read and understand!

Notariqon
Notariqon is the sub-label and child of Quartier23 and act as a net-label only!
About the name: A notariqon is the way to abbreviate whole sentences or phrases with the starting letters of each word so that the arising abbreviation is a word too. The number is 9.

Qoctoq
Qoctoq is the design-branch and is responsible for cover-, flyer-designs and so on.
About the name: the numerological value of the letter "Q" is 8. OCTO means 8 too. For that, Qoctoq means 888.

Qoronis
Qoronis is our web-zine.
About the name: Coronis or Koronis was one of the lovers of the greek God of Art and Music, Apollo. But she fell in love with Ischys. The white crow - a guard from Apollo for Coronis - informed the God about that fraud. The god - in full rage - cursed the crow that all of its feathers turned to black. Coronis was killed by Apollo's sister Artemis with some arrows.

We don‘t accept:

• boring soundtracks for boring bonfire-evenings
• untalented sounds made by machines & software
• any kind of pure noise (a la Merzbow)
• music without deeper senses
• black metal or any other metal sound

If you interpret the following stuff with arrogance, you have the right to do that, but it isn‘t. It is just to follow the best way... and we say it forthright!

1. We don‘t want to be a dump, so we don‘t want „artists“ or projects which finish releases in a non-stop-interval. There is no art inside!
    
2. Don't do promotion with all the tracks from the release. It should be enough to present extracts from one or two tracks. Nobody will buy an album if one can listen to it completely for free.
    
3. We don't accept these typical "MySpace-projects" which only exist on all of these online-platforms. Just answer for yourself one simple question: Would your project exist and prosper without MySpace & Co?
    
4. We have a special philosophy, a unique weltanschauung. If you take a look at our website or other works you will recognize. You DON‘T have to agree with our philosophy (because freedom of mind is part of our philosophy) but you have to accept that we have this special weltanschauung! So we don‘t want to be bothered by political correctness and political dictatorship too. Of course this include religious stupidity too...
    
5. We don‘t accept copyright protected material (incl. samples), neither in sounds nor in picture. You assert that you have the right to use all the stuff with your release. If problems occur, you are the only responsible person!
    
6. You have to sign a little agreement.

Quartier23 uses high-quality discs only! The manufacturers of our discs give a guarantee for a 99,99% compatibility to the currently available compact-disc players and CD-ROM drives. We guarantee that our discs are playable for at least 23 (yes!) years! If not, the buyer get a new disc in exchange for free! We don't print with ink or stick cheap labels on our discs. We only uses long-life thermal-prints for all of our discs!

Quartier23 uses high-quality papers for any printed stuff like covers or inserts. The manufacturers of the papers are the best in the world! We don't print the covers and other printed stuff at home on cheap inkjet-printers on cheap papers. We have strong partners, printing houses, which print with the best materials in laser-quality. The paper is never the cheap product but the strong perfect premium paper!

Radiostations can get original- or promotional discs - we decide from case to case.

Web-radioshows get promo-files online only!

Magazines, Webzines etc. can request promo-copies if they proof the existence of the magazine or webzine.

• After receiving your proof (automatic sent) of your order, we will check your order. This can last some hours. Your invoice will be transmitted via email too.

A MiniKeepCase is the same, just smaller - for a 3inch disc

A clear tray is placed in the middle of a professional printed cardboard. The left and the right part of the cardboard is fold over the tray. If you hold the DigiPack in your hands: fold the cover to the left and the other to the right. So you have a six-page cover.
